my other hobby i do

Hi just thought i would share my other hobby with you, i did this cottage in 2009, while i was off work after a fall and on cructhes from may to sept of that year, although i have still a lot of work to do yet on it, inbetween reborning, knitting etc. i havea big house as well, luv vicky xx

Beautiful work on this cottage, I love it, I also have a doll's house and a gentleman's study room box. I loved making the furniture and all fittings. I still have one room to complete in my house, one day I will.

I used a cheap childs cottage to do this, i used poly filler for inside and outside walls then paited them white, i used bolsa wood for beams, some window frames on the inside, benches and table, and some shelving.Cereal box card board for the flooring glued, then i used oil pastels to colour them, once to how i wanted them, rubbed a few layers of natural clear shoe polish over the tiles. Smealt like a new polished floor,

I love it, I have dolls houses but they are put away at the moment as no time to do anything with them, one day!!!!!

I just cut little bits of the wood away from the beams Doris then stained all the work, the table and benches are how i wanted them to look too.

I have to do more, but ive been knitting etc, and doing some reborning which also needs to be finished, havent relly had the heart for it last few weeks, dont know why though? I think its just time of year for me,
I will, im sure get inspired again, infact i am going to force my self to do some rooting or knitting,

OO Wow I love it lol, where do you find the room to store all your hobbies, reborning is soo room taking, I have never know a hobby to take up so much space, love it well done I would love to do something like that lol
