New Pink Coat and hat set

I've just finished this set, I used an old pattern which I changed and adapted and the hat is my own pattern, hope that you like it,

Is the jacket one piece or did you knit the sleeves apart from it ?
It suits very well !!!!!

The jacket is all in one piece, knitted one side, then the next and joined together to knit the back, this was originally a Phildar pattern of a coat knit in Aran with a hood for a 12 month old. It took a bit of doing as I had to adjust the whole pattern, glad it worked out, I did start writing it down , but will do a proper copy the pattern, th hat I made up, but found a tutorial on crochet flowers on U tube. Imlike experimenting.... I'm already halfway through my next project.

Lovely set you have made here. I love the dusky pink colour and the garter stitch is classy. WERE DO YOU FIND THE TIME!!!!!!!! You put me to shame and I must get my act together,keep up the good work it is inspiring, this is me this is you hopefully 2012 will see me off to a more organised start, bye for now Sharonx

I loved to knit when younger, I couldn't bear the thought of not having something on the needles, since reborning, it has brought me back to knitting and sewing, and I'm enjoying it...
