| I'm wondering how each of you decide how to cut and style your babies hair, I each time think I will leave the hair a little longer and make it thicker, only to end up with more or less the same, short hairstyle.. I love how some of you fluff the hair up into little curls. Mine always looks as though you have pulled a hat off the babies head. Could some of you share your tips. hugs Doris | |

| I never use mohair longer than 3". Most of the time i use, what do you call it, it's a kind of knife the haircutter uses to maker different lenght in your hair, not with scissors but witn a ......i dunno. Even when i cut the hair first, i use this thing afterwards, because the length of babies hair is never the same. When i leave the hair a bit longer and i use wavy mohair i moisturise it and throw it up a bit with a baby brush or a teethbrush, and the mohair gets nice and curly. I always use a bit of baby lotion in the water i use. It's smells like real baby hair. | |

| I think I know what you mean about the hairdressing knife, i have very thick hair and when I was young I used to have a razor cut hairstlye. I use mohair in 3ins lengths also. I will maybe try thinning scissors, and the tip about baby lotion sounds good. Thankyou iekie. Hugs Doris | |

| I always cut as I go. I think that if you use a good mohair it should style well (straight or curly) For the curls I comb round my finger all over the babies head and then tease each curl out with my fingers to make it lots of tiny curls instead of the large curls your finger makes. I have just rooted Pebbles by Petra Lechner with some mohair I bought off the Tinks forum, it was supposed to be Susan Nagel and the further I went into the packet the worse it felt. ARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG the end result was corse hair so I put the Nice n Easy conditioner all over it and put cling film over the head and left it for a few hours. After rinsing it it does feel a bit better but I am so dissapointed with it. | |

| I also cut the hair as I go along, but always end up with the same style, i will try the curls again. The mohair i'm using is I think from mohair monique, it is lovely but now I realise this is what I used for my Harry, the colour is a golden brown shade, not what I thought it woukd be, so I think that is putting me off. Barbara, did you buy the mohair friom Tinkerbells or off someone on the forum? I'm sure that Lilian Trigg is the only supplier of Susan Nagel in the UK. I love Susan's mohair I think that and Debbie Henshaw's are beautiful. Will be trying yours out soon. Hugs Doris | |

| Doris I bought it off someone on the forum but I have had it ages so I forget who. I have had Susans before and always been happy with it but this wasn't like her's at all. I am trying to use up what I have in my box then I will be using my own. | |
